Policies

Placing an Order

Thank you for considering Idahome Sweets! We are excited to discuss your event and explore ideas.

                                To start with, please complete our consultation form with your requested date, servings, and other details.

Once we receive this form, we will contact you to discuss it further.

 

Quotation

All quotes are valid 7 days from the date the invoice is sent.

Your quotation order form will confirm your date, the overall design, and flavor choices.

Other details can be adjusted as needed to ensure the product is exactly as desired. No other changes can be made 1 month prior to the event. Any changes can be subject to an additional charge up to $100.

Booking Fees & Final Payments

Orders are not confirmed until a 50% non refundable retaining fee is paid.

Invoices will be sent to you through PayPal via email.

Once the email is sent, you have 7 days to pay

the 50% non-refundable booking fee and secure your date.

This booking fee will confirm your date.

*Invoices not paid after the 7 day period will be canceled. 

The remainder of the payment is due 2 weeks before pick up or delivery. 

I accept cash, PayPal, Venmo or debit/credit cards.

*Orders will not be picked up or delivered until full payment is complete!*


Delivery/Pickup

I will stay in touch to remind you of pickup times or delivery times.

I do several orders a week, so please stay true to the times to ensure you and others receive

the order as expected in the time promised.

Your patience is appreciated and your order is receiving the

same quality, care, and attention to detail.

 

Delivery Charge

Delivery is an extra charge of $15 minimum and

after 15 miles is subject to an additional $0.80 per mile.

Once your order has been picked up or delivered, it is solely your responsibility.

There will be no refunds once it is in your possession.

Allergins

I am NOT LIABLE for food allergies.

I cannot promise nut, milk, or other allergies will not be present.

I won’t use the item if told not to; but I’m not a nut, gluten, dairy, allergen-free facility.

Therefore, consuming the product is at your own risk.

Cancellations

A booking fee is paid to secure your order and event date therefore always non-refundable.

As a small business we can only take on a limited number of  orders per week. The booking fee secures your date and the amount of time to complete the order. This means we don't take on additional  orders once a date is secure to ensure we can dedicate a certain amount of time on your order. Therefore a cancellation results in a loss of income. We also in advance purchase additional equipment, tools, and supplies needed to complete your order.  

In the event of cancellation our policy is as follows: Any order canceled later than 1 month from delivery date will forfeit there 50% booking fee used to secure the event date.

All cancellation requests must be made in writing by e-mail or text message.

In the event that your order has had to be re-scheduled please contact us to discuss options. We will try to accommodate the rescheduled date but can not promise it will be available.


Design

Idahome Sweets will gladly accept your pictures of inspiration for reference. We strive to create the closest product possible. We also have our own artistic styles therefore not every cake will be identical. You are purchasing a hand made product, flaws or imperfections can exist but we pride ourselves on making an outstanding product. For any reason we need to adjust part of the design the client will be contacted first. 

Complaints

Idahome Sweets strives to give the best products possible. We also take pride on professional customer service and want you to feel comfortable with questions or complaints. If you have concerns about your order, please notify us upon pickup/delivery. We like to confirm you are satisfied with your order.  If we need to make adjustments we are happy to help. We are only human and you're purchasing a handmade product so mistakes can happen. 

       In the event you would like to make a complaint we will require the product back for further investigation. At least 75% of the product must be returned within 24 hours to ensure we are able to fairly assess the complaint. 

         Idahome Sweets will not refund in the case of negligence to the proper storage, handling, and transportation of the product.  (Please reference care and transportation) The possibility of a  refund will be given based on the cake being inedible We will not take responsibility for dislike of flavor due to personal taste, ordering too much product or customers who have simply changed their mind. All refunds are at our discretion and the maximum refund we offer is the value of the cake and further compensation is not available.

By placing an order with Idahome Sweets you confirm that you

understand and accept this waiver of liability and agree to hold harmless Idahome Sweets for any negative reaction or medical condition of yourself and your guests.
